COMMANDER’S COMMENTS
I want to congratulate the post of the Third District for making this district number one in the Department of Missouri in membership. This is something that has taken us 42 years to accomplish. Now is the time to start anew. For both the Department and National has seen fit to increase membership dues by a total of nine dollars. This will require the post to increase their dues a like amount. We can buy a little time by two methods. (1) Push “Paid Up For Life” Memberships or (2) pay your current membership dues before the 1st of the Year and delay the increase until the 2003 membership drive.
